If Windows is up-to-date, there may be issues with a specific security update that needs to be repaired or reinstalled. If you do, they could be causing the errors.
See if you have any pending Windows Updates. If you're having trouble with any of these steps for EA Desktop, you can switch back to Origin while we're still in Beta testing. The EA Desktop app is currently in Beta, so only some players have access. dll errors, like your VC++ runtime package has not installed correctly when you are trying to install your game, troubleshoot with these steps.
