While this is not an issue that demands immediate attention, it would be nice if it was addressed by Mozilla. People use Firefox for streaming music, videos, or podcasts in the background all the time. In case you have multiple media tabs, using the Switch to audible tab shortcut/button will cycle through all of them. You can also use the shortcut key combo Alt + Shift + A to switch to the tab. You can click on it and it will instantly jump to the tab which is playing the audio.
Once you install the add-on you will see its icon on the toolbar. First, I would sure like my tabs to be at the top but below the address bar and second, I'd like a status bar at the bottom that shows addresses when you hover over a url(chrome://browser/content/browser.xul), url(chrome://browser/content/browser.This is a fairly recent add-on which seems to have been written for that one purpose Switch to audible tab lives up to its name. I'd like to start from scratch and make only a couple of changes.
UPDATE: I deleted my CSS file and found the tabs are back at the top but above the address bar. Is there any way to get my tabs back to where they were? Here are my current CSS settings. Obviously, the latest update to FF89 ignores my current CSS settings. For years now I've customized my FF using CSS. Where they used to be there's a blue bar but it's empty. The tabs used to be at the top just under the address bar. I just updated to FF89 and my tabs have moved to the bottom obscuring my status bar.
